Irene "Renie" Hall Lehman

Lehman, Irene (Renie) Hall, 83, of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, died peacefully at her home on Friday August 12, 2016. Born November 11, 1932 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of Ralph & Louise Hall. Growing up in Tampa, she attended Plant High School and graduated with honors with a BS in Education from Florida State University in 1954. She was a cheerleader all four years; a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, serving as president her senior year; Senator; as well as member of the FSU Flying High Circus, featuring the trapeze. She met her beloved husband, LTC Fredrick D. Lehman while working as a teacher in Japan and was married for over 57 years until he preceded her in death in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Brunson, and brother, Harvey Hall. She was a member of her beloved church, Calvary Episcopal Church, Indian Rocks Beach. Renie is survived by her three children, Christy (Ned) Stacey, Tallahassee, FL; sons Ralph (Charlotte) Lehman, Knoxville, TN; and Fred (Kim) Lehman, Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Ned (Lisa) Stacey and Brice Stacey, and Joey and Emmy Lehman, and two great-grandchildren (Aaron and Riley Stacey); niece Jackie Brunson; nephews, Doug Brunson (Sue), J. Hall (Leslie), Rick Hall (Donna), Bill Hall (Page), Greg Hall (Leslie), Tim Hall (Erin), Joel Hall (Jeannie) and 21 great nieces & nephews. A memorial service, officiated by Father Jon Roberts, is scheduled at Calvary Episcopal Church on Monday, September 26 at 10am. Renie's final resting place will be in Asheville, NC.
