It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jacob "Jake" Behring, a vibrant soul taken from us too soon. Born on March 12, 1997, in Clearwater, Florida, Jake brought joy and laughter into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jake was a proud graduate of Clearwater High School, class of 2016. Jake's journey through life was marked by the warmth of his friendships and the love he held for his family. His bond with loved ones was a cornerstone of his character, and he cherished the moments spent with family and friends.

Jake's passion for life was evident in the many interests that defined him. A devoted fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team, an unwavering love for animals, his love for the animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender", and a true enthusiast of electronic dance music. Jake reveled in the vibrant atmosphere of events like Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), where he could immerse himself in the music and connect with others who shared his passion.

Among his diverse interests, Jake had an extraordinary fascination with World War II history, delving into the intricacies of the past and appreciating the sacrifices made during that pivotal time. His curiosity extended to learning about new cultures, trying ethnic foods, and collecting flags from around the world.

To those closest to him, Jake was known for his infectious sense of humor and playful razzing. His family cherished his ability to light up any room with laughter, creating lasting memories filled with joy.

Above all, Jake was renowned for his thoughtful and heartfelt gift-giving. His ability to choose the perfect present reflected his deep understanding of those he cared about, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family.

As we mourn the loss of Jake, let us remember the vibrant spirit who embraced life with passion, loved his family and friends unconditionally, and brought happiness to those around him. May his memory live on in the stories we share and the laughter he brought into our lives.

A celebration of life will be held for Jake on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. The immediate family will begin to receive family and friends from 5 pm - 6:30 pm, a Memorial service will promptly follow at 6:30 pm.
