James married his life love, Kathleen, on May 16th, 1953. He worked as a steamfitter for Local 638. James had a passion for golf, fishing, drinking beer, traveling, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was an excellent dancer. He dedicated his time as a volunteer firefighter, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
James is survived by his son James; his son Drew; and his daughter Dawn; his grandchild Jennifer, his grandchild Brad, his grandchild Jessica, his grandchild Brianne and his grandchild Scott.
James was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Sander.
A visitation for James will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
