Jared Michael Coopersmith

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jared Coopersmith, 44, of Largo, Florida, who passed away on April 1st, 2025. Jared was born on April 6th, 1980, in Englewood, New Jersey, to Joyce Mazzarella and Harvey Coopersmith.

Jared graduated from Countryside High School and went on to have a career in wood recycling with D&S Pallets Inc. He was passionate about Mets baseball, a love he carried throughout his life. Jared’s infectious enthusiasm for life, his family, and his work left an impact on all who knew him.

Jared married the love of his life, Ashley DeVivo Coopersmith, on December 31st, 2022. Together, they shared a bond that was deep and meaningful, and he cherished his role as a husband and father to their son, Xavier Coopersmith.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley Coopersmith; his son, Xavier Coopersmith; his mother, Joyce Coopersmith; his in-laws, Dominick and Hope DeVivo; his sister, Samantha Joyner; brother-in-law, Shawn Joyner; his niece, Sofia DeVivo; and nephews, Emmett Joyner, Chase Joyner, Dominick DeVivo III, and Giovanni DeVivo.

A celebration of Jared's life will be held at a later time, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember a man whose presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
