

Born on July 17, 1938, in Middletown, Connecticut, Jean was the beloved daughter of Helen and Peter Arcidiacono. She graduated from Hillsborough High School and went on to build a long and successful career in merchandising, serving as an administrative assistant at Busch Gardens for more than 30 years.
Jean was known for her warm spirit, dedication to her family, and love of adventure. She had a passion for traveling and greatly enjoyed collecting dolls, a hobby that brought her much joy throughout her life. Her kindness, strength, and enthusiasm for life will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Fernandez; her son, John S. McGaughan; her grandchildren, Heather Moses, Jason Bratcher, Justin Fernandez, and Brittany McGaughan; her great-grandchildren, Kourtnie Thompson, Kolbie Tempesta, and Branden Tempesta; and her siblings, Carol Fox, Peter Arcidiacono, and Jimmy Arcidiacono.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Peter Arcidiacono.
Funeral services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on June 22nd, 2026 at 10:30 AM with a graveside service to follow immediately after at Serenity Memorial Park.
Jean's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
