Jeanette Patricia Kokotek,of St. Petersburg Florida, left this world December 2nd, to live in eternal peace with her soul mate and husband who passed away in 2008 . She was born March 17, 1934, to Stanley and Sophie Mazur in Chicago, Illinois. During her first year of nurse’s training she met the love of her life, Dr. Norbert Kokotek. They married on Valentine’s Day 1953. The couple lovingly raised eight children in Skokie Illinois and later moved to Fairbury, Illinois. They retired in 1980 to enjoy the sunshine of Florida. Jeanette is survived by her daughter and caregiver Mary Kokotek of St. Petersburg; sons Kenneth (Jessica) Kokotek of St Petersburg and Michael (Sandi) Kokotek of Washington, IL; daughters Rosanne Hartman, Susan Kokotek, Antoinette Kokotek-Cole all of St. Petersburg; and two additional daughters. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday Dec 7th at Cathedral of St. Jude Apostle, St. Petersburg.
