Jeanette I Rugg

Jeanette (Jan) Irene Garbow Rugg was born on January 8, 1922. She grew up in Middleville, Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in education. She married Jim Rugg and together had two children, Frederick and Cynthia, spending many happy years in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After retirement, she and Jim moved to Florida where they remained. Jeanette loved to golf, take long walks, read, play bridge, and socialize with her many friends.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Iva Garbow, her husband, James Robert Rugg, her son, Frederick Robert Rugg, her grandson, Frederick (Fritz) Dingeman, and her brother, Paul Garbow. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Alison Rugg, and grandchildren, Sara (Chris) Kaplan, Andrew (Sarah) Rugg and four great grandchildren. We would also like to thank, Sherry Dunn, for her compassionate care and love for Jeanette the last 17 years.
