IN THE CARE OF
Serenity Funeral Home & Serenity Gardens Memorial Park
Jeffrey Thomas Dunn, 66, of Largo passed away at home surrounded by his wife and daughters on May 11, 2022 after battling a long illness. Jeff was born in 1955 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Mary Ellen and Thomas J. Dunn. He came to Florida from Rockford, IL in the 1980s and worked for FedEx for over 30 years, during which time he met his one true love, Mary Lou. They married in 2001 and enjoyed sharing their lives with family and many friends. Jeff loved golfing, cooking and baking, playing with his grandchildren, making everyone laugh, laying on the couch with his cat, Murlow, and had a natural green thumb.
Jeff’s life would seem too short to many, but to those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His smile and generosity brought joy to everyone who knew him.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou Snyder-Dunn, his daughters Shannon Bishoff and Heather Kray, son-in-law Thomas Kray, Jr., his granddaughters, who absolutely adored him, Adriane and Abigail Kray, his siblings Mary Ellen, Jimmy and Carol Ann Dunn, his Aunt, Betty Johnson, cousins, nieces, and a nephew..
We will gather for a celebration of Jeff’s life on May 27, 2022 at Serenity Gardens: 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida 33774. Visitation with family will begin at 5pm, a memorial service at 6 pm and a reception will follow.
Donations can be sent to Suncoast Hospice: 5751 Roosevelt Boulevard, Clearwater, Florida 33760.
