Joan was born May 09, 1931 and raised in Woodhaven, Queens NY. Her childhood was blessed with an extended family. She was the apple of their eye.
She married her childhood sweetheart Pete and was blessed with sixty-five years of marriage. They raised three children in Levittown, NY. Her life was filled with laughter, music and love.
Joan’s working career was highlighted as a legal secretary running a law firm in Wantagh, NY for many years.
After moving to Florida they enjoyed many adventures on the road visiting friends and family. They settled in Largo, Florida and after many years Dementia took its hold on Joan. With her family always by her side, she lived at Belleair Rehabilitation Center. Again, she was blessed with many devoted care takers.
Joan was loved by many and will be missed by all. Her smiling face will be forever etched in our hearts. Joan lived a happy life until peacefully passing on May 02, 2019. We will all miss her smiling face.
