Martins, Joao “John”, 83 of Largo, FL passed away Dec. 25, 2014. John was born in Murtosa, Portugal. He and his beloved wife of 63 years, Arminda moved to Largo in 1988 from Rahway, NJ. Arminda passed away on Dec. 26, 2014. John is survived by his son, John (Rose) Redington Shores, FL; sister Ana Maria Martins, Portugal and 5 grandchildren. John was a member of St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, Largo and the Portuguese American Suncoast Association, St. Petersburg, FL. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 Thursday, Jan. 1, 2014 at Serenity Funeral Home, Largo. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am Jan. 2, 2015 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo.
