John was a good man. I'll never forget in 1989 he and Lee met us at Busch Gardens, spent the day with us and took the boys (John 3rd, Michael and Steven home with them and a few days later we picked them up on our drive home. We picked 2 small buds of cactus which we still have. He was a good father-in-law to me.  Joyce Kopec Potrykus

He always called me "his Daughter", though he was not my bio-father. It has been an honor to be here helping with his care right up to the end of his life, and I'm sure he's looking down on my Mother now & will as time goes on for her in her latter days of life.

John was a loving, kind man.  His love of my dear Aunt was so evident in all he did and said.  He had so much knowledge and shared it with all.  Rest in peace dear John.

John was a good friend to my Mom, Rayma and I. He loved live , Evelyn and his crosswords. I am saddened by his loss but what a life he lived.
