John Stephen Santeramo, age 84, of Clearwater, died Sept. 6, 2010 in Largo. He was born in Brooklyn NY and has been a resident of Florida since 1991 coming from Lynbrook Long Island NY. He was employed as a dispatcher for Green Bus Lines Inc and was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1179. Mr. Santeramo was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WW II. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing and free diving. He is survived by his wife, Giovannina Jean Santeramo; son, Jasper Rhodes (Lucille); daugher, Judy Santeramo; sister, Lillian Lombardo (John); three grandchildren; one great-grandhchild, and loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday Sept. 11, 2010 at the First Assembly of God Church of Clearwater. Interment with full military honors will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Lakeside Mausoleum in Largo. Visitation hours are scheduled for Friday Sept. 10th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
