John Bernard Thornley

Thornley, John B. “Jack”, 82 of Clearwater, FL passed away on September 30, 2013. Jack was born on July 5, 1931 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Joseph and Mary (Fischer) Thornley. He moved to this area in 1986 coming from New York. Jack was a self-employed businessman who worked in Sales and Marketing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in New Jersey. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Linda Thornley of Clearwater, FL, a son John B. (Rebecca) Thornley, Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina, two daughters Cheryl (Robert) Everton of Harpers Ferry, WV and Deborah (Chris) Thomas of Wirtz, VA, five grandchildren Tanner, Garrett, Lauren, Jackie and Amanda. He is also survived by a sister in law Joan Shorrock of Largo, FL and two nieces Heather Fuller and Steve Handy and Heidi (Kamel) Achour both of Boston, MA and the mother of his children Dolores Thornley. Memorial Contributions may be offered to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312-9067 or to the donor’s choice. Private family services will be held at a later date.
