

Giuseppe “Joe” Sirabella, 90, of Largo, FL, died May 13, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Giovanni Sirabella and Carmela Salvato and grew up in Ischia, Italy. At 18 years of age, he was drafted into WW2 and served in the US Army and Navy for 5 years before returning to Brooklyn, NY to marry and raise his kids. He moved to FL in 2010. In life, he was first an auto mechanic and later a co-owner of the Hotel Terme Alexander in Ischia, Italy for many years with his 3 siblings; Louie, Anna Carmela, and Catello. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Sirabella and survived by his daughter, Lisa Sirabella and son, John Sirabella, both of Brooklyn, NY; his brother and best friend, Louie Sirabella, of Largo, FL; and his sister, Anna Carmela and brother Catello, both of Ischia, Italy. Joe is remembered for his kind heart and extreme generosity, his love of travel and the good life, being a big history buff, and his appreciation of animals, especially his beloved dog, Stella. The funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Largo, FL on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 12pm. Joe’s remains will be laid to rest next to his wife in Brooklyn, NY at Green-Wood Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
