Josephine M DiLeo

Di Leo, Josephine Mary, went to meet our Lord Friday Nov 28, 2014. She was born in Linden, NJ and resided in Carteret, NJ until her marriage in 1953 and moving to Avenel, NJ and Whitehouse Station, NJ. She and her husband, Frank Di Leo moved to Florida in 1987 and was currently a resident of Tamarac By the Gulf for the past 14 years. Prior to retiring, Josephine held the position of office manager for the Catholic Parish of St Jerome located in Largo, FL from the late 1980's until the mid 1990's and the position of executive assistant to the president of Raritan Valley Community College located in New Jersey for several years. Josephine is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Di Leo, two sons, Frank Di Leo, Jr., (Sandy), and Christopher Di Leo (Amy) and daughter Catherine Di Leo Wanner (David), two grandsons, Matthew Wanner and Michael Di Leo of New Jersey, and her brother, Daniel Gavaletz of Florida and sister, Dorothy Van Dusen of New Jersey. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for Friday December 5, 2014 at 1 pm at St Jerome Catholic Church 10895 Hamlin Blvd in Largo. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Lakeside Garden Mausoleum. Visitation hours are scheduled for Friday December 5th from 11am to 12:30 pm at Serenity Funeral Home 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo. There will be a celebration gathering luncheon at Serenity Gardens Celebration Gathering Room following the committal service at the cemetery.
