Jozef Tatarczuk

TATARCZUK, Jozef 95, of Largo peacefully passed away Friday March 29, 2013. Present at his side were his wife of 65 years Kamila, daughter Irena Simons, and son in law Scott Simons. He was born in Weis' Puchowo Poland, the oldest of seven children. He fought with the Polish Army during World War II, and emigrated with his wife and children in 1960 to the United States. Jozef worked in the leather industry in Peabody, MA and was active in St. Joseph's Church in Peabody. Jozef moved to Largo in 1987 from Salem MA. Survivors include his wife Kamila (Rokicki) Tatarczuk, daughter Irena Simons (Scott) Seminole FL, a son Thaddeus Tatarczuk (Janet) Groveland MA,grandchildren Bryan Tatarczuk (Maria) Lexington MA, Scott Tatarczuk (Sarah) Tamworth NH, and Adam Simons St. Augustine FL, great grandchildren Ella and Nicholas Lexington MA and Acre and Lagan Tamworth MA, a brother Wladyslaw and sister Jadwiga. He is predeceased by a daughter Cheslawa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs April 4, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel Mausoleum.
