Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved companion, Jim Durst; her children, Beverly Gerardi and Lewis Gerardi, Jr.; her brothers, Doyle Adkins and Kenneth Adkins; and her parents.
She is survived by her loving sister, Ruby “Joan” Brown; her devoted son, Rex Adkins (Sharon) of Gordon, WV; her dedicated daughter, Brenda Rabbitt (Dave) of Largo, FL. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her precious poodle, Foxie.
Juanita took great joy in cooking, growing beautiful roses and other plants, and spending time with those she loved. Her home was a gathering place filled with laughter, comfort, and home-cooked meals.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
