Judith “Judy” Ann Miller, lovingly known as Mom and Grammy, passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 84. She passed away peacefully at home on the birthday of the love of her life, Robert Miller—a tender connection that brings comfort to the family who loved her so deeply.
Judy was a light in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She had a special way of making each person feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her family was her greatest joy, and she filled their lives with laughter, traditions, and memories they will treasure forever.
Judy never met a stranger. Within minutes of meeting her, you felt like family. With her kind smile, generous heart, and wonderful sense of humor, even a brief visit could turn into shared laughter and a lasting friendship.
She was always dressed to the nines. Whether attending a celebration or simply picking up a prescription, her hair and makeup were done, her accessories carefully chosen, and her purse and shoes perfectly coordinated. Judy brought her own fabulous style to everyday life.
Across generations, she taught her family lessons that were both practical and lasting: how to grocery shop, plan meals, find the best coupons, and bake something delicious. She shared her love of Disney and, above all, her love of family. Through her example, she taught them to show up for one another and make time together count.
Judy made sure her grandchildren gathered every summer, creating bonds that would last well beyond childhood. Even when life was difficult, she found ways to make those visits special—with big birthday celebrations, plenty of pictures, and everyone’s favorite cereal, made possible by her expert couponing. She was there for graduations, birthdays, crafting parties, baking parties, and the everyday moments that became cherished memories.
Her family will forever miss her hugs, her laughter, her cheesecake, banana bread, carrot cake, pies, and especially her peanut butter cookies. Each one was an expression of the care she poured into the people she loved.
Judy is survived by her children, Cathyann Gaskins, Julie Armor, David Gaskins, and Lisa Cohn; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchildren, who will carry her love and lessons with them.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Robert Miller; her mother, Lucille “Lucy” Franz; her father, Roland Franz; her brother; and her niece and nephew. Her family finds peace in believing that they welcomed her into heaven, where she is reunited with those she loved.
Judy’s legacy lives on in every family gathering, every shared recipe, every story told, and every act of kindness inspired by her. She loved her family, and she made certain they knew it.
**Forever our Mom. Forever our Grammy. Forever loved.**
