Staszewski, Julian, 81 of Largo died Wednesday Oct. 9th at Hospice House Woodside, Palm Harbor. Born February 15, 1932 in Rogenice, Poland he was the son of Stanislaw and Bronislawa Staniek. Julian moved to the United States in 1971 from Poland. He was an Elevator Operator in New York City. He also owned several rental properties in NY and Florida. He was a member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, PSK and Liga Morska. Julian was the founder of the Polish Slovac Federal Credit Union in Brooklyn. He is survived by his daughters Bogumila (Stanislaw) Tarczynska of Lindenhurst, NY and Weronika Staszewska of Brooklyn, NY, sister Wanda Chajska of Kielce, Poland, grandchildren Karolina Tarczynska and Anna Tarczynska, cousins Marisia Trela of Manhattan, NY, Zosia Jankowski of Queens, NY and Izabella Nieznalski of Manhattan, NY. A funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday October 12th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home-Serenity Gardens Chapel, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, FL. 33774. Visitation will be 12-2pm at the funeral home.
