June Leadam of Seminole, Florida passed away on January 27th, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born in Akron, Ohio. She lived in Kent OH, Whippany, NJ and Thousand Oaks, CA before moving to Florida in 2022. June was a Medical Transcriber, in addition to a homemaker. While living in Thousand Oaks, CA, she was a member of the Elks and The Red Hat Society where she enjoyed friends and chatting. She loved being a part of a camping group which she enjoyed with close friends. Her close friends called her “June Bug”.
June was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her son, J. Michael Leadam and two daughters, Kristen Anderson and Diana Peterson and a son in law, John Olsen (Kristen’s husband). In addition to her six grandchildren, she also had 5 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many but the memories of family get togethers will be the most missed by her family.
The family will have a private get together in March 2025 at their family reunion. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make a gift to your favorite charity.
