Kathleen "Kae" Reis

Mrs. Kathleen “Kae” Reis, age 75 of Clearwater, Florida went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. She passed away with her family beside her at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas County.

Kae was born alongside her twin sister, Kathie Rost, to their loving parents, Melvin and Helen Martin. Kae grew up in De Pere, Wisconsin, graduated from East De Pere High School and went on to attend UWGB. She married her husband, Robert Reis on July 7, 1972.

Kae also enjoyed a very fulfilling career in logistics for the 42 years that she worked beginning at Fort Howard and ending at KBX Logistics until she retired. Kae was full of life and loved exploring new places. She was funny, kind and a bright light. She had many hobbies and especially enjoyed cooking, art and shopping as well as spending time near the water with family and friends in Florida.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Robert Reis, Jacob and Kerry Reis, Maxwell Reis, Alexandra Reis, Sydney Reis, William Reis, David and Jessica Denor, Matthew and Sarah Denor, Eric and Abby Nelson, Levi Nelson, Joseph Denor and Samuel Denor. She is also survived by two siblings and her husband’s siblings and their families: Kathie Rost, Melvin Martin, Dennis and Elsie Reis, Richard Reis, Tracy and Dennis Seeman and Don and Mary Cuskey. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Helen Martin and her brother, Alan Martin.

Kathleen will be buried at sea by her family in the Gulf close to where she lived in Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to The Morton Plant Hospital Foundation 2536 Countryside Blvd, Suite 600, Clearwater, Florida 33763.
