He was born on October 16, 1961, in Dearborn, Michigan, to Darrell and Ginger Clark. In 1980, he graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and went on to further his education at Purdue University and the New England Culinary Institute.
During his 20s and 30s, he made his mark as a talented sous chef at several of Indian Rocks Beach's finest restaurants, including The Wine Cellar. In his 40s and 50s, he built a successful career as a sales professional in the auto industry, later retiring in 2025 as a public transportation bus driver.
Keith was a devoted "dog dad" to his beloved Buckshot and Boom-Boom. He cherished spending time with them on the beaches and shoreline around Indian Rocks Beach.
Those who knew Keith in his younger years remember a young man who was no stranger to a good time — always ready with a laugh and always the first to preen a little. He had the looks and charm to turn heads and no shortage of admirers. Underneath the swagger was a fiercely loyal and protective friend, someone you wanted in your corner when things got rough. He was also deeply respectful of his friends' elders. Visits often found him deep in conversation with a friend's father long after he was supposed to be out the door. Above all, Keith was a loyal and trusted friend, the kind people don't forget.
Keith is survived by his father, Darrell Clark; brother, Kevin Clark (Linda); sister, Pamela Girardin (Ed); niece, Kaitlin Thornton (Reid) and their children, Reese, Rowan, and Rhett; nephews, Jordan Clark (Andrea) and their daughter, Grace, Clark Girardin (Maegan) and their son, Levi, and Chandler Clark (Erin) and their daughter, Haven; as well as many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ginger Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Anona Church in Largo, Florida, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM. A dinner reception will follow at Bel-Air Country Club.
