Kenneth Robert Weaver, 88, of Palm Harbor, Florida and formerly of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was the son of the late Isaac and Florence Weaver. He was the loving husband of Jean L. Weaver, with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage on October 9.
Kenneth joined the Marine Corps in 1950, served during the Korean War and was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He later joined the Ephrata Borough Police Department, retiring in 1991.
His love will live on in his wife Jean, children: Kim, wife of Michael Wintersteen (Danville, PA); Terry, husband of Sarah (Clearwater, FL). Grandchildren Kyle Wintersteen, husband of Amanda; Erika, wife of Kevin Vargo. Great grandchildren, Jackson and Grant Wintersteen; Sophie and Bryce Vargo. Step-grandsons, Marc and Michael Andrews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10:30 am for family and friends. Interment will take place at Serenity Gardens, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
