

Kimberly Ann Andruszko , 61, of Largo, Florida passed away June 9, 2026, at Morton Plant Hospital surrounded by her family. Kim was born in Clearwater, Florida to Harry and Gerry Andruszko on September 2, 1964.
She was a Largo High Graduate and attended St. Pete Junior College where she received her AA Degree. Transferring to the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL she received her Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Education. She began a 30 year teaching career with the Pinellas County School System after college; only taking two years off to complete her Master's Degree at Southwestern Theological Seminary. Most of her teaching career after Seminary was spent at Largo Middle School where she made lifelong friendships. Kim had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. She expressed herself well even thinking of writing a book about her experience in teaching.
Kim had a full life and loved to travel. She had done mission trips to Russia, The Ukraine (2) and worked in several Christian Summer Camps. Vacations were spent on Caribbean Cruises, Back Road Biking, NC mountains, Disney Ft. Wilderness Camping. She'd toured Germany, France, Holland, Canada, and Mexico and most of the USA. New Mexico being her one goal left. She loved sports. Everyone knew when college football season began Kim would be rooting for her favorite team Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tampa Bay Rays were her favorite baseball team and of course the Bucs her football choice, even when they were losing. She had team shirts for every sport and proudly wore them. Guess you could call her a sports fanatic.
Kim's faith was very important to her and she became a member of Calvary Baptist Church Clearwater in 1982. Her Sunday School Class was a wonderful support group and prayer warriors for her during her illness. Her faith in Jesus Christ kept her strong through her days in the hospital and in life.
Kim is survived by her mother, Gerry Andruszko, her brother, Mike Andruszko of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, Sister-in-law, Melissa Andruszko of Indian Harbour Beach, FL , Niece, Chloe Brandon and husband Conor of Bonita Springs, FL, Nephew, Owen Andruszko of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, Aunt, Judy & Uncle Ron Slaughter of Largo , FL. as well as beloved cousins and dear friends. She lived a blessed life surround by those who knew her and loved her. She will be deeply missed.....
A Funeral Service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, on June 19, 2026, at 11:00 am followed by a Committal Service at Serenity Memorial Park And Cremation Gardens.
