She is survived by her loving husband, William D. Tucker, daughter Elisa Tucker Bobbitt (Jay), and two grandchildren Reese and Nolan Bobbitt.
She was born on February 10, 1946, in Akron, Ohio to Medley Hoch and Elizabeth June Hoch (Williams) and grew up in Stow, Ohio. Linda attended the University of Miami and graduated in 1968, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
Linda was an educator with Pinellas County Schools for 30 years, touching many lives at Dunedin, Riveria, Morgan Fitzgerald and Thurgood Marshall Middle Schools. Linda was principal of Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School from 1986-2005.
She was a member of Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church and served as an elder. Linda had a passion for the arts, watching collegiate sports, and traveling with her husband.
Linda will be laid to rest at Serenity Gardens in Largo, Florida on April 8, 2023. Services will be held at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Humane Society of Pinellas, which was close to Linda’s heart.
Linda will be dearly missed but her memory will live on through the love she shared with her friends and families.
