Margaret L. "Peg" (Sullivan) Bachelder, formerly of Weymouth, MA & Portland, ME, passed away on March 5, 2024 after a period of failing health. Daughter of the late Peter, Ethel & Edna Sullivan, Peg graduated from Cathedral HS in Portland, ME. After moving to MA with her husband, Dick, they owned & operated Answering Bureau, Inc for over 30yrs. She enjoyed knitting, reading, crocheting & Bingo, but nothing brought her more enjoyment & pleasure than time spent with her children & grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband of 43yrs, Richard, Peg is survived by a son, Kevin & his wife Sue, and 2 daughters, MaryEllen Chaney & husband Jim, & Ann Bunszell & husband, Dan, all of MA. She will also be dearly missed by her 8 grandchildren, Jessica & husband Sam, Christopher, Brooke & husband Corey, Michael, Kevin, Kate, Stephen & Carolyn, as well as her 2 great grandchildren, Paige & Westin & 4 siblings. Peg was proud of her Irish heritage! Please wear green to her service if you would like. Relatives & friends are invited to visiting hours on Wed, Apr 3 from 9:30am to 10:45am at St. Mary's Church, Hull, MA followed by a funeral Mass at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's in Hull.
