Potts, Margaret V. 82 of Largo died Sunday January 5th. Born July 12, 1931 in Boston Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Henry and Mary McPherson Sullivan. Margaret married the late USCG LCDR Robert E. Potts on March 8, 1952. Until their eventual retirement to Florida in 1975, Margaret & her family relocated several times around the US. She worked in banking and Real Estate, but she was best known as Mother Extraordinaire & beloved Nana Banana.
In later years, she was an avid reader, crossword puzzle & Sudoku whiz, but admitted she was “too dumb to play BINGO”.
Margaret is survived by her children Joyce Henry of Fairfax, Virginia, Robert M. Potts of Safety Harbor, Florida, Charles M. Potts of Largo, Florida, Janine Koslow of Deltona, Florida, Felicia Shores of Largo, Florida and Marcella Fletcher of Queidersbach, Germany, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass at St. Jerome's Catholic Church & Burial at Bay Pines Veteran's Cemetery on January 21. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, Largo or Suncoast Hospice
