TO THE ALDRICH FAMILY..

I HAVEN'T SEEN MARIE IN A FEW YEARS,
BUT WHEN I HEARD OF HER PASSING IT
BROUGHT BACK SUCH LOVELY MEMORIES.
WE SPENT MANY NIGHTS PLAYING MAHJJ WITH
OUR MAHJJ GROUP..WE USED TO PLAY AT EACH OTHER'S HOME. WHEN IT WAS MARIE'S
TURN, YOU ALWAYS KNEW THAT YOU WERE IN
FOR A SPECIAL DESSERT TREAT! HER TABLE
WOULD BE SET AS IF SHE WERE ENTERTAINING ROYALTY. THAT WAS HER WAY.
SHE MADE YOU FEEL SO SPECIAL.. A TRUE
LADY, ALWAYS WELL-DRESSED. AND WHAT
A READER..SHE COULD RECOMMEND THE BEST
BOOKS. HER GRANDCHILDREN WERE HER JOY.
SHE'D HAVE SUCH FUNNY STORIES TO TELL AFTER RETURNING FROM A BABY-SITTING "GIG". YOU'LL MISS HER, BUT
KNOW THAT SHE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU.
REST IN PEACE, MARIE.
WITH LOVE AND CARING,
JANE MURPHY

My sister, Marie, was a great influence on me growing-up. I must say, that what I am today is in part because of her. She took me shopping, to plays, museums, and my first time on a tennis court was with her. I will think of her often and thank her for being there for me when I was growing-up. Her loving sister, Josie

I feel so blessed and grateful to God that he gave me a mother in law that not only showed me so much love and acceptance but showed my children the true meaning of what love is. The time she spent with us will never be forgotten.

It's been many years since I last saw Marie but the wonderful memories flooded back. What a wonderful cook she and her Mother were. My son Bradley, who would never eat spinach, told your Mother how good the dinner was.She thanked him and pointed out he was eating spinach. The look on his face was priceless.Wonderful memories. My prayers are with you.

My grandma was a truly remarkable and influential person. The numerous ways she expressed her love and support in my life will never be forgotten. She is the definition of a role model.
