Marilene San Antonio Mata

Marilene was born on October 27, 1952, in Bombongan, Morong Rizal, Philippines, to Candido and Avelina San Antonio. She graduated from Morong High School. On October 10, 1970, she married the love of her life, Edilio (Del) Mata.

Marilene built a career as a restaurant owner, bringing her passion for cooking to everything she did. She loved to travel and cherished the time she spent exploring new places with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Candido San Antonio.

Marilene is survived by her mother, Avelina San Antonio; her husband, Edilio (Del) Mata; her children, Lena, Leslie (Marcus), and Noel; her grandchildren, Aleah, Kiara, and David; her brothers, Arthur (Helen) San Antonio and family, and William (Ailene) San Antonio and family; and her sister, Consorcia (Bernard) Mendoza and family.

Marilene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, US, on July 24, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1955 S Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764, US, on July 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Serenity Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, US, on July 25, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
