What a beautiful tribute. I had the pleasure of caring for Mark as his nurse at Tampa General in January and it was a happy yet bittersweet day when I discharged him. I literally remember it like it was yesterday. He made me laugh and made my days brighter. He was a fighter. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. May you always remember the best of memories ❤️

“Thick as thieves” his father might say in describing the friendship between Mark and myself. Sadly, over time, the thick became thin; and by that, I don’t mean our friendship came to an end. Good friendships never end. Two lives, simply put, diverged. Based on his wife, Bonnie, and their children and grandchildren, I can see what I always knew would be my friend’s fate; a full and happy life. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Dear Bonnie and Family,
I just received the sad news about Mark and send my deepest sympathy.
My memories go back to living across the street, baby sitting for he and
Nancy, and forever being teased about learning to dance with a scarf tied
To the bedpost. How precious are my memories and blessed to have known
And loved all the Thomases.
