Pugh, Marvin T. 71 of Belleair, FL passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011. He moved to this area in 1976. Marvin was Vice President of Just Ours Inc., The Pie Factory. Marvin was a graduate of Auburn University. He is survived by his loving life partner Barbara "Bobbie" Barmore of Belleair, FL, two daughters, Jayne Pugh and Theresa "Terri" (Casey) Green both of Gadsden, AL and two step daughters Georgine (Gigi) (Stephen) Fekete of OR and Karen Barmore of Tampa, FL along with five granddaughters Ashlye Pugh, Felicia Cain, Alicia Cain, Stephanie Fekete and Chelsea Green and five grandsons Shawn Fekete, Shane Fekete, Evan Bender, John Barmore and Nate Barmore and a great grandson Blayke. Marvin Pugh was many things to many people. Born in Gadsden, Alabama, he was a true southern gentleman. His daughters write "My Daddy's hands were large enough to protect me, but gentle enough to console me." To his many friends he was a big, generous man with a kind soul. He was a friend to everyone and didn't know a stranger. We all knew we were in for a treat when he folded his arms, rocked back on his heels, and got that far away look in his eyes when he started to tell his tales. Last but not least, he adored his partner Bobbie. He did not spend a minute away from her for 23 incredible years. Marve was a true American Patriot; he served in the Navy SeaBees and was wounded in Vietnam. He worked for Belks for many years but for the past twenty years he could be found at the Pie Factory where he loved to laugh, joke, and make employees and customers alike happy. One of his recently proud moments was when he caught the largest fish and won an award from the Clearwater Bass Club. Even in the end, when he wasn't feeling his best, he always put that aside and put other people first, asking how they were doing, or inquiring about their family. It is his warm smile that will stay with us to the end. Thank you, Marve, for touching all of our lives in so many different ways. Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Lung Association. A memorial service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 12:45 pm. A Gathering Of Friends will follow immediately after the Memorial Service back at The Pie Factory, 12777 Walsingham Road, Largo, Florida 33774. Arrangements are being handled by Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Largo, FL 727-562-2080. Condolences may be offered at www.mossfeasterlargo.com.
