Archambault, Mary Jane “Janie” (Cross) of Plant City, FL. Beloved, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the age of 86.
She was born June 6, 1938 in Danville, Il to Mary Altman. Janie enjoyed being with her family, playing bingo and cheering on her favorite football team Tampa Bay Buccaneers and her favorite baseball team Tampa Bay Rays.
She is survived by her five children, Marjie (Chris Wozny) Kemp, Suzan Frank, Janine (Don) Dowdy, James (Sharon) Archambault and Linda (Bob) Christofaro; and her brother Victor (Alice) Cross. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and James Altman; her late husband James Leo Archambault Sr, they shared 62 years of marriage; and siblings Lucy, Robert, Martin.
A Memorial Service followed by a Celebration of Life will be held: September 28, 2024 10am at Community of Christ, 1740 N Highland Avenue, Clearwater, Fl 33755.
