My big sister loved unconditionally. She fought life's battles bravely and fiercely. She shared her talents continually. She tended the wisdom fires of our mother and our aunts; keeping them alive for us to live by. She gave me amazing nieces and nephew. She honored our parents. She taught me the "You" game. She made me smile. She captured my heart. She is etched in my soul. She always has been, and always will be my beloved big sister.

Enjoying a good talk while feeding hibiscus petals to the turtles. Mary’s smile is unforgettable.

My beautiful sister (my Doll) was not only loving and loved, but also a mischievous rascal. When she and her family were living in Virginia, she wanted access to the attic space in the house, so she cut a hole in the ceiling to install a ladder to be able to do so. When her young children returned home from school, she angrily pointed at that hole, and demanded: "I want to know who did that!" The childre's eyes got as big as saucers and they said; "I don't know, Mommy, I swear I don"t!" I guess being a rascal just runs in the family.... We all love and miss our little rascal.... She's with our beloved Matthew now...

Mary and I met when we were teenagers. If anyone has but one friend in their lifetime, they would be blessed to have a friend like Mary who was generous of heart and mind and one who accepted me totally as I was, flaws and all. No one made me laugh like Mary. Mary loved life, her beloved husband Tom, her children and her extended family and friends. I will miss you forever my friend. ❤️

Dear Tom, Jessica, Lauren, and entire family,
I am heartbroken writing this memory of Mary thinking about all the fun times we had. Going to all the flea markets and thrift stores with you in Florida and N.C. Outings and great cook outs with friends. Laughing finding you and Tom your North Carolina home, which you turned into something magical with your talent and special touches. The love we shared for our pets through the years, and so much more !!! Give Matt a big hug !!!
Love You,
John & Craig
