May was born December 31, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to Jane and James Murray. She graduated from Frankford High School where she was in the Dance Committee and was a Frankford Star as a dancer where she performed ballroom dancing, worked as a Real Estate Broker and then received a Medical Office Assistant degree from Central Piedmont Community College.
She was married to Wesley George Howard on April 15, 1950. May was active in her church and loved playing tennis and bridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Howard (Richard) Topolski; granddaughters, Jacquelyn (Nate) Peregoy and Erica (Darren) DiNardo; great grandchildren, Adam, Jude, Wesley, Dominic and Kate.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 11220 Oakhurst Rd., Largo.
