Mary was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She studied nursing and graduated at the top of her class. She married and moved to Allentown, where she raised her four children and built a wonderful career as a Registered Nurse at Good Shepherd Hospital. Mary later moved to Florida, where she continued her passion for caring for others through in-home nursing. Most recently, she moved to Chico, California, to retire and rest.
To know Mary, even briefly, was to feel her kindness and the depth of her caring spirit. She loved easily, wholeheartedly, and without reservation. Her family, her friends, and everyone who crossed her path were touched by her generosity, warmth, and compassion. She loved nothing more than time with her family. For Mary family was biological, those that joined, and chosen. Her grandchildren (and grandpets) were her everything!
Family and friends are invited to honor Mary’s life at a Celebration of Love and Life on her birthday, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Rose Garden, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Florida. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.
After the ceremony, all are welcome to continue sharing stories and memories at a reception hosted by the family at Caryn’s home in Dunedin. Please contact Caryn for details.
May your love and light forever guide us.
