Michael J Gaganis

GAGANIS, Michael J., 92, of Largo, died Dec. 18, 2013. Mike was born in Toledo, OH and moved to Largo in 1987 from Detroit, MI. Before retirement he owned and operated Olympic Electric. He was a member of St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, St. Petersburg and was a US Army Air Corp veteran serving in WW II. His memberships include, AHEPA, V.F. W. Post #9272, American Legion Post #0252, both of Seminole. He also served as president of volunteers at University General Hospital, Seminole. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, John and Chryssoula Gaganis and great nephew, Christopher. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 33 years; daughters, Georgia (Roland Veilleux) Greene, Largo and Pauline (Mike) Brockman, St. Petersburg; brothers, Panagiotis Gaganis, Palm Harbor and Constantine Gaganis, Anaheim, CA; sister, Anna Adams, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Amanda (Derek) Olesen, Kim Brockman and Brent Brockman; great grandchildren, Emma and Easton Olesen; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Connie, Vicki, Michael, Joanne and Steve; great nieces, Stephanie and Samantha and great nephew, Michael and many others.
