SMITH, Michael Gerard age 47 of Clearwater Florida died Friday September 19, 2014 at Largo Medical Center. He was born in Hornell New York and has lived in Florida for 15 years coming from Canisteo NY. He was a 1985 graduate of Canisteo Central School and of St James Mercy School of Radiography. He was employed at Largo Medical Center. Michael was a Master Mason of Clearwater Masonic Lodge 127 F&AM. Michael was an avid reader of the Bible, and had a vast hand gun collection, and was very proud of his Scottish heritage. A memorial service is planned for Monday September 29th at 1 pm at Serenity Funeral Home 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo FL. Survivors include his wife of 14 years Beth Smith (Knotts), sons; Lewis Smith, Ronald Jackson, Robert Jackson, daughters; Kaitlyn Smith, Emily Irwin (Daniel), Jamie Jackson, parents Marjorie and Gerard Smith, a brother Raymond Smith, sisters; Theresa Smith, Janice Dantin (Joe), and nine grandchildren.
