He survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeanne, children, Laura (Sam) Claburn, Ravenna, Oh. Susan (Steve) West,, William (Kimberlie), Akron, Oh. Robert (Christine) Chester, W Va and Paul, Jr., Las Vegas, Nev., 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, brother Richard, Cuyahoga Falls, Oh. and nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his daughter Pauline Hawk parents John and Pauline, step- mother Agnes, sister Rosemarie Hershberger and brothers William and Charles.
He was a proud member of the Akron Ohio Police Dept. retiring after 31 years service and a lifelong fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He also enjoyed golfing, traveling, sports, dancing and singing karaoke.
A private funeral Mass will be at St. Justin Martyr Church.in Seminole where Paul was a member, followed by burial at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Largo.
