Ramona was born to Einar and Ragna Justad in Plaza ND, where she graduated from Plaza High School in 1952. After high school, Ramona moved to Fargo, ND where she graduated from the hairdressing academy and enjoyed working in the beauty salon making people feel good about their appearance.
Ramona married Marvin Wall in 1954 and eventually moved to Grand Forks, ND where she was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and loved to take care of her home, her family and friends. In 1980 she joined with her husband, Marvin, in what became her proudest career accomplishment, the ownership and operation of Wall’s Medicine Center. Ramona loved the sun and, after the Great Flood of ‘97, she took up permanent residence in Seminole, FL. There she enjoyed retirement with her husband, participated in events through the Holiday Isles Elks Club #1912 and attended services at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Throughout her life, family was always Ramona’s main love and priority; while she remained passionate about music, dancing, nature and flowers, and, especially, exploring the shops, where she always found unique and beautiful treasures.
Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, Einar Olaf and Ragna Ovedia (Cleveland) Justad, and brothers, Gerald and Donald Justad.
Ramona left behind, and will be sadly missed by, her husband of 59 years, Marvin of Seminole, FL; son, Kevin Wall of Chicago, IL; daughters, Rita Pfeiffer of Minneapolis, MN, and Kim Perello of Largo, FL; granddaughters, Angela Anderson, Jennifer and Julie Pfeiffer of Minneapolis; a thought-of-son, Mario Barrales; and her pet, Molly (dog).
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to chaplain Terry and all the staff at Suncoast Hospice for their support in her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Suncoast Hospice would be appreciated.
