Dr. Raymond A. Anderson, DPM

Dr. Raymond A. Anderson, D.P.M., 86, of Seminole, Florida passed away on March 14, 2023 at Largo Medical Center. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Seminole, Florida on August 3, 1971. He graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatry in 1964, where he taught for several years and practiced podiatry in both Chicago and Seminole for a total of 52 years and finally retired in Seminole, Florida at the age of 80. He also served as a corporal in the Army Reserve. He was a Baptist and attended both Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida and Community Bible Baptist Church in Pinellas Park, FL. He was a member of the A.M.A., Rotary of Seminole and the Podiatric Association of America. He was preceded in death by long time companion, Rita Lee Davis and is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Wells-Anderson; stepson, Michael L. Wells; son, Scott (Kim) Anderson, grandchildren Luke and Olivia Anderson; son, Mark (Lila) Anderson, stepdaughter Shelley (Mark) Tranter, step-grandchildren Michael, Kelsey and Alex Eberle; and grandnephew, Sean Gannon. Donations may be made in his memory to the S.P.C.A. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held in his honor at the Serenity Gardens Library room on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, Florida 33774.
