HORD, Richard L. “Dick”, 85 of Indian Shores, FL passed away on Saturday, 10/5/2013. Dick was born March 21, 1928 in Vicksburg, MI to the late Clyde & Letha (Hudson) Hord. He moved to this area in 1972 coming from Michigan. Dick owned and operated American Rental on Seminole Blvd., Seminole. FL. He retired selling the business in the late 1990’s. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of the VFW Post 9272 and the American Legion Post 400. He was also a Shriner and a 32 degree member of the Masonic Lodge. Dick is survived by his loving daughter Reddi Hord Martel of Largo, FL, a brother Charles Hord and sister Arlene Hord Wells both of Michigan along with several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be offered to All Children’s Hospital, in St. Petersburg, FL.
