Rick was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 27, 1935 to Richard and Geraldine Krenek. He graduated from York High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in 1957. While in college he joined The Alpha Tao Omega Fraternity. He married the love of his life, Linda Lee Roberts on September 8, 1956. Rick had a career in Financial Planning for 45 plus years. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and had a passion for golf; he especially enjoyed golfing at Countryside Country Club.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Linda Krenek; 3 children, Kimberly Krenek, Kristen Brant, and Richard R. Krenek and 5 granddaughters.
A private funeral service will be held on February 16th at 1pm but can be viewed online. Please head to www.SerenityFuneralHomeLargo.com for more details. A public committal service will be held at 2:30pm at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 16th.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ Presbyterian Church of Largo or Suncoast Hospice.
