Born May 19, 1931 (Homewood); Died March 3, 2020 (St. Petersburg) at 88 years of age. He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Flickinger (Chicago); sister, Dorothy Byers (Cincinnati); 20 nieces and nephews and multiple great- and great-great- nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Frances Flickinger (nee Marchio) and four brothers and sisters (Edward, Thomas, Ruth, and Rosemary). He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict (Army) and Past Commander of VFW Post 8077 in Homewood, Illinois.
Bob was deeply adored by all for his legendary wit and joy in life. He will be keenly missed by his family and friends, swimming pals, and fellow poker, pinochle, bingo, and trivia players. A life fully and well lived by a man fully and well loved. Good Job Bob!
