GLOVER, Robert William Born Nov. 30, 1931, died Feb. 5, 2013, beloved husband of Berte for 56 years, devoted father of Deborah and Robbie, who predeceased him and Barbara. Adored grandfather of Rebecca and caring brother to Daphne (Don). Born in Red Deer, Alberta, he joined the RCAF and participated in the Korean airlift, 426 squadron, subsequently moving to Ottawa to pilot government officials and foreign dignitaries 412 squadron. Bob and family moved to Connecticut, where he worked as a commercial airline pilot for 25 years. Upon retirement, he and Berte moved to their home in Florida, spending the summers in Berte's childhood town in Newfoundland. Throughout his life, he greatly contributed to both community and church. Seldom at rest, he was an avid skier, gardener and runner. He died peacefully. A memorial service will be held at Oakhurst United Methodist Church, 13400 Park Blvd, Seminole on Monday, Feb. 11, 2012 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimer's Association .
