51, passed away July 17, 2018. Rob was born September 20, 1966 in Milford, CT to Robert H. and Alyce Irene Heenan. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Leslie Stanley; and father-in-law, Albert Gilman. Survivors include the love of his life, wife, Patience (Lissa) Heenan; brother, Dan (Monique) Heenan of Seminole; sisters, Nancy (Larry) Kates of Jacksonville and Joan (Stephen) Kilpatrick of St. Petersburg; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Rob was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. After working his craft in various locations he finally worked his way back to his favorite place, Florida. He was the pastry chef at Rez Grill at the Hard Rock Casino. Rob was a fascinating individual who both enjoyed walking the streets of Paris, looking for new culinary masterpieces; to fishing for Snook and Trout. He honed his woodcrafting by creating spoons that grace kitchens throughout the country. Rob's sense of humor was always a backdrop to all his dealings. But the real Rob was a compassionate humanitarian who insisted on donations to charity in lieu of gifts. He was a helper of orphans, a caretaker of veterans and as a chef, nourished a desire to feed the hungry and make them happy. Rob was a sweet, kind man loved by many. He found great joy in time spent with his family especially his nieces and nephews. He lived life to the max and will be missed deeply by his wife, family and friends who are left with beautiful memories of a wonderful guy.
