Howes, Robert E., 74 of Largo died Wednesday August 8th 2012 at home. Born October 23rd 1937 in Quincy, Massachusetts he was the son William and Gwendolyn Ellis Howes. Robert owned and operated his own restaurant; The Cape Half in West Harwich, MA. from 1962-89. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Harwich, MA, and 32nd Degree Mason in the Mt. Horeb Lodge in Dennis MA. He is survived by his sister Nancy Domenico of Miami, Florida, four nephews William, Michael, Steven and Mark Sliney and all their children. Robert is predeceased by his partner and lifelong friend Milton W. Chapin from Athol, MA. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
