Robert L Vecchio age 72 of Largo Florida passed away April 25, 2010 at Palm Gardens of Pinellas in Largo, FL He was born in Stubenville, OH and relocated to Florida 36 years ago coming from Morgantown WV. Mr. Vecchio was a graduate of West Virginia University and employed as an inventory specialist manager by R.G.I.S. Inventory Company of St. Petersburg FL. He was of the Roman Catholic faith and enjoyed college and professional football, baseball and basketball. Robert also was an avid golfer and loved crossword puzzles. Survivors include a son David M. Vecchio of Largo, daughter Renee L. Vecchio of St. Petersburg, sisters; Rose Marie Upton and Sally Ann Decker, two grandchildren; Chloe' and Austin Vecchio. He is also survived by Mary Ann Vecchio. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday May 1, 2010 at 3 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo at 13401 Indian Rocks Road. Deacon Richard Brady of St. Patrick's Catholic Church will officiate the memorial service. A reception for family and friends will follow at Serenity Gardens Gathering Room. Memorial contributions in Mr. Vecchio's memory can be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society or Palm Gardens of Pinellas.
