Garst, Ronald L. 60 of Largo died Sunday Dec. 18 at the Woodside Hospice House. Born July 3, 1951 in Roanoke, Virginia he was the son of Richard and Elaine Kelly Garst. Ronald was very patriotic and he served in the US Army from 1971-1973. He was a member of the Indian Rocks VFW. Ronald was a conductor on the railroad for several years and then a salesman for security systems. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Garst of Largo whom he married August 24, 1997, step son Eric (Shannon) Leigh of Missoula, Montana, step daughters Shannon Leigh of Missoula, Montana and Kelly Jean (James) Kennedy of Keystone Heights, Florida, brothers Richard L. Garst Jr. of Rocky River, Ohio and Mark R. (Peggy) Garst of West Lake, Ohio, sisters Margaret Puzsik of Rocky River, Ohio and Kathryn A. (David) Sperli of Westlake, Ohio, , nephews Sean Garst of Westlake, Ohio, Ricky Puzsik of Rocky River, Ohio, Aunt and Uncle Paul and Peg Wiedt and many cousins, brother-in-law Dwight Vogel of Fayetteville, Tennessee and sister-in-law Sarah Cason of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by many caring friends and his beloved pet Shih Tzo’s Shimmy, Koko and Bop. A Memorial service will be Monday Dec 26th at 11:00am at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home- Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo. There will be no calling hours.
