74 of Hudson, FL passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Sylva, NC. Ruth was born September 20, 1036 in Passaic, New Jersey and moved to this area in 1957 coming from Saddle Brook, NJ. She graduated from the Lodi High School in Lodi, NJ. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard E. “Dick” Gerber of Hudson, FL. Also a brother, Robert Weiler of Greenwood Lake, NY and a sister, Joan VanWyk of Indianapolis, IN, a niece, Sherry and four nephews, Robert, David, Kevin and Richard along with great nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Cancer Society.
