Samuel Joseph Storti

Storti, Samuel Joseph 57 of Largo died after a courageous battle with cancer on Sat February 21, 2015 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater surrounded by his loving wife, 2 sons, sister in law and best childhood friend Alfonse DiDonato. Born June 19, 1957 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania he was the son of Frederick and Carmella DeMaeo Storti. Samuel owned and operated his own construction company, SJS Finishing Contractors in Belleair, FL. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Seminole FL . Samuel was a dedicated, devoted and involved father who coached baseball and basketball. He was an avid boater. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Maria Jaye Storti of Largo whom he married April 19, 1986, two sons Samuel Joseph Storti Jr. and Francis Paul Storti of Largo, brothers Frederick (Kathy) Storti of Philadelphia, PA and John Storti of Boston , Mass.,two nephews, Domenic and Gianni Storti and brother in law Kenneth Jaye of Lawrenceville, GA and sister in law Beverly (Leon) Dragon of Palm Harbor, FL. A Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Monday March 9th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11565 66th Ave. Seminole, Florida 33772. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wells Fargo Bank: Maria Storti for benefit of Samuel J Storti, Jr. and Francis Storti Donation account.
